“Gruppa Prodovolstviye” LLC published its financial results in 2021. As a result of activities in the reporting period, the company’s revenue increased by 92% and amounted to 5.8 billion rubles. The net profit exceeded the same period last year by 52%. Revenue growth is conditioned by a 73.5% increase in sales volume, in 2021 this figure exceeded 200,000 tons. EBITDA increased by 1.5 times.
Commenting on the results of operating activities, Dementiy Glukhov, the Director of “Gruppa Prodovolstviye” LLC, noted the consistent implementation of the adopted development strategy by the company: “In 2021, the company showed a quarterly increase in key financial indicators. Despite the introduction of various restrictions on the export of products, the growth of export sales in tonnage amounted to 71%. At the end of 2021, “Gruppa Prodovolstviye” was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Altai Chamber of Commerce and Industry “For the great contribution to the development of the export potential of the Altai Krai”. The company is systematically developing the grain business – the volume of grain sales in 2021 has tripled. Lentils had high profitability last season – the world market showed a high demand for this product, which allowed the company to fulfill the plan for the production of lentil. In May 2021, the company acquired the property for the elevator in the village of Mikhailovskoye in Altai Krai. It was important to have enough time to prepare the technical base for the new season – we carried out the renovation work, completely prepared technological laboratory and transport equipment; together with representatives of the Russian Railways, we resolved issues related to the launch of the station for placing in and removing of freight cars. The transshipment volume on our elevators doubled last year. Following the development strategy, “Gruppa Prodovolstviye” continues to expand its rolling stock. The wagons are acquired under the leasing terms in the ownership of the company and are effectively used for the transportation of goods. The company aims to keep achieving positive results, to strengthen its market positions, and to successfully implement the planned projects.”
